Triad Design Service Inc., a rapidly growing producer of military and commercial technical manuals, has a full time position open in Marietta, Georgia.
Responsible for writing, validation, and maintenance of organizational-level technical publications developed for on-equipment maintenance of C-130J aircraft. Publications are developed in Organizational Maintenance Manual Set (OMMS) format and maintained in the LM Aeronautics Automated Technical Manual (ATM) System utilizing Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML). Candidate must have a technical publications background in maintenance manual development and be highly proficient in the use of electronic authoring/editing software and knowledgeable of technical manual formats and requirements and SGML. Responsibilities will focus on fault reporting and fault isolation of complex avionics and mechanical aircraft systems. Strong analytical skills, extensive experience troubleshooting a variety of aircraft faults and an understanding of military operational testing and troubleshooting techniques required. Must be able to effectively interact and communicate with customers, engineering, and other organizations to define aircraft maintenance requirements. Successful candidate must possess an extensive knowledge of all types of aircraft systems, including military specification requirements and logistic support concepts and be able to read and understand logic, wiring, and schematic diagrams. Prior military or industry experience relating to aircraft avionics and knowledge of complex automated and integrated aircraft systems preferred.
