The Countdown to 2008 has begun! Now is the time to get involved
and build the Democratic National Party. It is becoming increasingly clear that
this batch of Republicans in Congress is going to be just as bad as the last!
Having a Democrat in the White house is the only way we are going to be able
to move forward on important issues like the mishandled war in Iraq, our corrupt
healthcare system and global warming. We definitely can't afford another eight
years of bad leaders, bad policies, and a president who ignores 75% of the country's
wishes. Join our Atlanta Campaign Office working on our nationwide campaign
to build the infrastructure of the Democratic National Party. Take on the role of Field Manager. We are looking for passionate, responsible individuals
to dive in and help run our growing campaign offices. If we want to win in 2008
now is the time to take action and join the campaign team. There are many opportunities
to grow within the organization in Atlanta or in other major cities.

Field Manager



Field Managers will help to manage one of up to 25 grassroots field offices, leading teams of paid staff.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Assist in building and managing an operation that will reach 100K households, identify 10-20K donors, and raise $250,000-$500,000 during the campaign season.

  • Staff Management: Teach canvassing/fundraising skills. Work with your staff in individual and group settings, with a particular eye towards developing leaders.

  • Canvassing: Canvass door-to-door five days per week, to work with staff in the field and meet personal fundraising requirements.


  • Recruitment: Conduct local outreach and interview prospective staff.

    We've knocked on over 320,000 doors.


    We've talked to over 160,000 people.


    We have over 150 people knocking on doors across the country.


    We signed up over 19,000 people on our different campaigns..
