Our Client is looking for a 3 to 6 month contractor, Sr. SAP Business One Analyst, particularly someone with strong SAP Portal experience. Preference is for someone with very strong English verbal and written communication skills.

NEXTAFF is looking for W2 and Contract candidates for this position. Please no Corp to Corp responses at this time. Local Candidates are preferred but client will pay room and board depending on experience.



Job Responsibilities:



• Installs, maintains and enhances technical components of SAP such as ERP, Business Intelligence (BI), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Exchange Infrastructure, Net Weaver Portal and Solution Manager. This position will: Support the basis components of these applications and may support third party products such as TopCall, JetForms, EASY Archive, IBM MQ Series and Ascential DataStage TX (Mercator).

• Configure and continuously tune SAP systems and database systems.

• Diagnose and resolve system problems.

• Installation, maintenance and upgrades of add-on packages to SAP systems.

• Monitor SAP processes.

• Provide technical support for SAP systems and supporting third party products to end users and the SAP functional support team.

• Perform business application package evaluation, selection, installation and support. This includes working with external applications and service providers.



Requirements:



Required Skills for this SAP Business One Analyst include:



• 5 or more years of Basis experience with SAP R/3 or ERP, SAP Business Intelligence, NetWeaver Portal, Exchange Infrastructure and/or other significant SAP components.

• Must have installation experience with SAP WAS 6.40 or 7.0 Basis.

• Knowledge of project management techniques.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



Education: BA/BS or an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related area.



Desired Skills:



• Strong knowledge of Java, UNIX, Oracle, SAP security and ABAP/4 programming.

• Proficient in technology and techniques.

• Knowledge of client server applications design, structured techniques, application testing, programming techniques, analytical skills, standards, testing tools.

• Fully-developed professional skills and knowledge with substantial pertinent work experience.
