Paralegal Wanted for Intermediate-sized Marietta Family Law Firm





Skills Required:


-Proficient Computer Skills


-Extensive Microsoft Word Experience


-Experience with Microsoft Excel Preferred


-Litigation Experience


-Family Law Experience Preferred


-Familiarity with Court System and Procedure, particularly Superior Court


-Pleading Drafting Experience


-Client File Experience


-Client Service and Communication Skills


-Self-starter and Independent Worker





Duties:


-Communicating with clients about cases, procedure, and scheduling


-Scheduling appointments, mediations, depositions, and hearings


-Maintaining a knowledge of progress in each file for communication and case management


-File management


-Drafting letters to opposing counsel, the court, judges, and clients


-Drafting pleadings

-Organizing files and financial information





Starting Date: Immediately


Hours: 8:30-5:00 (with one-hour lunch) Monday-Friday


Salary: Commensurate with experience
