First off I?m not looking for the perfect man ? just someone perfect for me?.!

Anyway, I am facing a bit of a conundrum of late?.. I am finding the people that are interested in me I am not interested in and the ones I?m interested in are not interested in me?.. how hard can it be?

?Putting yourself out there? in the bars and clubs to meet someone just does not seem to work very well, I meet people but they are all too young and don?t want the things I want in the long term, and ultimately I?m finding that although fun in the short term it is a bit of a waste of time going out with someone you can?t see a future with?. I am finding that I would like to meet my ?other half? i.e. someone my age with a similar background (professional white middle class) and similar values (down to earth, honest, good morals etc,) and interests (outdoors, travel, arts & culture, bit of everything really), someone who went through their teens in the same decade as me?. :-) Yet those guys seem to have only just grown up and are wanting to settle with someone in their late twenties/early thirties to start a family and do not seem to want to meet someone roughly their own age?.

I wonder if it is an age thing? I guess it must be. If there is a tall (I?m 5?11?) decent and down to earth guy out there who would like to meet someone their own age who they can connect with I?d love to hear from you and if any ladies happen to read this and it rings a bell, I?d be interested to hear your views as well.
