Welcome! The GLEDR is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to instruct the country’s law enforcement agencies and school district’s staff.; after the atrocities and horrors of the Columbine High school shootings, Virginia Tech, and the killings at Northern Illinois University, the GLEDR recognizes a dire need to prepare teachers and police officers to act and react to these “Active Shooter” situations nationwide.

The GLEDR has developed a specific training program where we instruct teachers and police officers how to handle these shooters customized to their own facilities. The GLEDR analyzes the facility where we will be training in, such as a school, and tailor the program to it so in the event of an Active Shooter, school staff and law enforcement will know exactly what to do.
The GLEDR offers this training program for free; where America’s children are concerned, the desire for profit is non-existent. We have, since 2005, been benefiting communities across the nation .
The GLEDR also acts as a disaster response team. After seeing the aftermath and destruction of Katrina, moreover the deaths caused by it, the GLEDR has established itself to be able to respond and rescue in the event of a natural disaster.

The GLEDR believes in GIVING back to our communities by helping raise money, donating equipments and learning materials to law enforcement agencies and school districts and sponsoring local youth sports.

GLEDR Mission is to improve the training and response time of school staff and law enforcement in the event of an Active Shooter situation. It is our hope to instruct departments and school district in every state, and in doing so, promote the safety of our children. Our secondary goal is to be equipped and staffed in a way that leaves us always prepared in the event of a natural disaster which requires emergency response.

GLEDR Vision is to promote ourselves to the general public by offering protection and service to multiple states with our training and disaster response at no cost to state or local law enforcement agencies or schools. We want an area’s total populace of police officers and school staff to know exactly how to handle an Active Shooter in their own facility and help save our children’s lives!

GLEDR Beliefs are an essential part of who we are and how we conduct business. The GLEDR is a organization for preparing , preventing and responding to all school violence and disasters for free through out the US.
